Join us for an unforgettable excursion to the rock named Cathedral located in the M’GOUN Geopark. We depart for a two-hour drive in comfortable SUVs. The journey itself is a highlight.
Upon arriving at Cathedral, we’ll set off on a well-marked trail toward the summit. The hike is moderate and suitable for most fitness levels.
Reaching the top, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views.

Explore the Atlas Mountains and the river Ahansal
Join us in this excursion for a stunning walk upstream along the Ahansal River toward the Ahansal Gorge. This fairly easy path alongside the river offers a lush, green scenery. The sounds of the flowing water accompany us as we walk at the foot of the Cathedral, a towering rock formation that rises 600 meters from the riverbank.
Lunch will be served upon your return from the gorge. (apprx. 2,5 hrs walk).

As you journey toward the home of a Berber family, you will learn about the medicinal uses of the native herbs, gaining insights into traditional practices passed down through generations.
Upon reaching your destination, you will be graciously invited into a simple Berber house, where you will sit on the floor in the traditional manner. Here, you will be served a delicious Tagine, prepared with local ingredients—a true taste of authentic Berber cuisine.
